Job Profile
Summary:
The Director, EMS Program Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for Harris Health's EMS program, developing multiyear strategies that align transportation services with organizational priorities and patient care needs. This role oversees nonclinical EMS operations, system performance, and resource planning, using data and analytics to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and guide decision making. Serving as the primary liaison with internal leaders, public safety partners, and community agencies, the Director ensures seamless coordination across the EMS continuum. Through strong people leadership and a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, the role advances a high performing, accountable, and integrated EMS system.
Minimum Qualifications
Degrees:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Public
Health, Operations Management, or related field
Master's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Operations Management, or related field preferred
License & Certifications:
Six Sigma Green Belt LSSGB (Or) Six Sigma Black Belt LSSBB. To be obtained within 2 years of hire
Work Experience:
Seven (7) Years Work Experience in a healthcare environment, including complex patient/program operations; including 2 years in EMS, transport operations, emergency management, or safety-sensitive programs preferred
Management Experience:
Five (5) Years of Management Experience in a Management or Supervisory
role or providing leadership experience
Language Skills:
