JOB SUMMARY

Security Officers are responsible for incident reporting, checking identification to ensure compliance with various agencies and escorting guests and employees throughout the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Candidate will be required to write reports of all incidents that occur.
  • Candidate must understand the importance of guest safety.
  • Candidate performs functions such as checking identification of patrons and ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations of the PGCB, PLCB, the PHRC, and the standard operating procedures of Presque Isle Downs.
  • Candidate must be professional and courteous at all times to both employees and the public.
  • Candidate must have excellent communication skills, be polite, smile and present a neat appearance.
  • Candidate will aid in the destruction of used cards and dice from table games.
  • Candidate will be responsible for escorting fills, credits, and documents to and from the cage and pit.
  • When walking through aisle ways, candidate should make sure all vacant, nonfixed slot seating is appropriately tucked in as close to the slot machine as possible and isle way is maintained.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. Security experience is a plus. Prior working knowledge of customer service is essential.
