POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for organizing and driving the success of the ERP and enterprise applications initiatives. Working cross-functionally with a broad set of business partners, the program manager is the interface between different stake holder groups and is comprehensively responsible for the program management of large-scale complex ERP and related transformational programs with significant impact on business process. This position will have specific focus on supply chain/procure to pay ERP processes and new growth integrations at enterprise scale. The program manager will provide oversight of the enterprise portfolio of programs (ERP) in addition to providing an overview of scope, timelines and overall progress. Proven success with ERP implementations is a requirement for this opportunity. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Program management for the enterprise applications project portfolio
  • Frequent travel being onsite with new location implementations
  • Drive integrated planning, release readiness, and cross-workstream coordination with workstream leads and business SMEs to enable predictable delivery outcomes
  • Manage compilation of schedule, status, and metric updates at project and team levels; report appropriately to all levels of governance including executive
  • Lead program updates and status calls
  • Provide program-level oversight of risks, dependencies, issues, actions, decisions, and changes, ensuring early escalation and proactive mitigation of delivery impacts
  • Establish and govern quality management frameworks to ensure delivery integrity, solution readiness, and alignment with strategic business outcomes.
  • Project management interface between business/stakeholders, technical and functional teams
  • Influence across global, cross-functional teams and senior leaders to drive alignment, accountability, and results
  • Provide consolidated executive reporting across projects/products (Dashboard level reporting).  Includes providing insights and actions to deliver to our strategic objectives
  • Act as the liaison between IT, business operations and finance for the product and project financials
  • Consolidated financial management across defined groupings of projects/products including managing the program’s budget on behalf of the IT Executive sponsor, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the program progresses
  • Work with other managers to coordinate resources and other interdependencies within and across service lines
  • Work with Solution Leads and Project Managers to identify and communication release roadmaps for each work stream
  • Focus upstream and downstream of execution to measure if projects and initiatives realize anticipated benefits
  • Continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Partner with major vendors and service providers to ensure they cost-effectively meet the needs of the organization
  • Partner with customer’s IT teams to ensure alignment of technology solutions and the secure exchange of data

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
  • Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMI PMP or PgMP) is a plus
  • 10+ years of ERP work experience
  • 7+ years of program/project management including KPI reporting on financials, risk and vendor management
  • 7+ years’ experience in supply chain or related industries 
  • Experience with large system program implementations, integrations and conversions (Oracle/JD Edwards/NetSuite/SAP).
  • Experience with large, finance-impacting systems transformations/ implementations (Oracle/JD Edwards/NetSuite).
  • Experience managing across varied business and technical stakeholder groups and maintaining key relationships
  • Experience in change management and guiding organizations through complex transformations
  • Previous experience in driving improvements with standards
  • Experience with opportunity analysis and driving process standardization

  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance
