What You'll Do?

  • Provide continuing advice, recommendations, and assistance for development and execution of operations/project strategy, program/project schedules, fiscal and personnel management, software management, and other disciplines as needed. 
  • Provide resource management (i.e., budget construction recommendations, fiscal accountability, and space utilization) for education programs/projects. 
  • participate in USAMRIID’s training programs as a Subject Matter Expert to support resident and on-line training programs.  
  • Provide administrative and logistics support for professional meetings, conferences, special panels, boards and training and education programs/projects. This includes coordination with staff, agencies, and vendors involved in the trainings.  
  • Manage scheduling and operational duties for audio conferences and any liaison functions related to Satellite/VTC products/events for training and education programs/projects. 
  • Assist with the organization and execution of educational courses. This includes planning, scheduling subject matter experts for all courses, creating course outlines, class schedules and maintaining all CEU accreditation requirements. 
  • Assist in the planning, execution, creation and the definition of requirements for the education programs and products (publications, web based, videotape, DVD/CD-ROM), in- house training courses, and for the satellite broadcast programs. 
  • Travel will consist of approximately 5 1-2 day trips per year 
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university 
  • 5-6+ years program/project management experience. 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance (must be a US citizen) 
  • Has ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. 
  • Ability to travel within the US for approximately 5 1-2 day trips per year 
  • Ability to travel outside the US as needed to support the program (must have valid US Passport at the time of hire) 
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint 

Desired Skills

  • Possession of an active security clearance (minimum: Secret) 
  • Experience working on a Government Site 
  • Experience planning and implementing educational programs.
