Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Strategic Technical Manager to lead and manage high-impact foundry customer programs. This role serves as a critical bridge between customers and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across the end-to-end supply chain to successfully execute complex customer engagements.

Aligned with Intel's IDM 2.0 strategy, the ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, technical depth, and program leadership and leads both strategic planning and hands-on execution to ensure customer success. This individual will drive outcomes from initial engagement through production ramp while influencing internal stakeholders and enabling scalable execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Program Leadership

Own end-to-end delivery of strategic foundry customer programs, from opportunity alignment through execution, ramp, and EOL.

Act as the primary interface for key customers on program milestones, risks, and deliverables.

Translate customer requirements into actionable internal execution plans.

Strategic Alignment and Execution

Lead both strategic planning and hands-on execution to ensure customer success across all program phases.

Partner with business development, product, engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to align on customer deals and ensure seamless execution.

Drive cross-functional coordination to resolve complex technical and operational challenges.

Influence and develop alignment strategies across Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Operations, and IT stakeholders.

Influence prioritization and roadmap decisions based on customer needs and business impact.

Supply Chain and Operations Integration

Lead alignment across the full supply chain (fab, OSAT, logistics, planning) to meet customer commitments on schedule, cost, and quality.

Identify risks and bottlenecks early and drive mitigation strategies to ensure program success.

Support capacity planning, demand forecasting, and execution readiness.

Customer Engagement and Relationship Management

Build strong, trusted relationships with strategic foundry customers.

Serve as a thought partner to customers, advising on technical trade-offs and manufacturing considerations.

Support escalation management and drive resolution for critical issues.

Program Management Excellence

Establish governance models, program tracking, and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability.

Drive continuous improvement in program execution processes and tools.

Ensure clear communication across all levels, including executive stakeholders.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related technical field with 8+ years or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in semiconductor, foundry, or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional customer programs.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and supply chain ecosystems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working directly with foundry customers or fabless semiconductor companies.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end silicon lifecycle (design fab assembly/test delivery).
  • Ability to influence without authority in highly matrixed organizations.
