Summary:

The Lead Program Manager , Technical Program Management position serves as a subject matter expert in technical project and program management, recognized across the function for deep expertise in large-scale program delivery, governance design, and cross-functional execution within pharmaceutical distribution. Bridges strategy, execution and governance ensuring larger-scale initiatives deliver on business value. Leads the most complex and high-stakes technical programs with broad organizational impact and limited management oversight. This key role provides thought leadership on project & program management frameworks, delivery methodologies, and governance practices that shape the organization's technical program management capability. Responsible for significant improvements to program governance, delivery frameworks, and program management standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Bridges strategy, execution and governance ensuring larger-scale initiatives deliver on business value.

  • Drives program design and delivery planning for enterprise-scale initiatives involving multiple workstreams, dependencies, and stakeholder groups.

  • Influences executive and senior technical leaders on program strategy, delivery approach, and governance investment priorities.

  • Develops and standardizes program governance frameworks, delivery methodologies, and program management standards that improve execution quality.

  • Builds reusable program playbooks, reporting templates, and governance standards that scale program management capability across the organization.

  • Mentors senior project managers, advancing program management expertise and organizational delivery capability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.

  • Master's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

  • 6+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, or a related field required.

  • Certification in PMP, PgMP, or equivalent preferred.

  • Prior healthcare experience - highly desired

  • Proven ability to extract and analyzes portfolio data to assess cross-project intersections, dependencies, and enterprise allocations.

  • Experience working with MS Project to support schedule and status communication based on program needs.

  • Prior experience using MS Excel to analyze and communicate enterprise information, including multi-sheet workbooks, filters, functions, and pivot tables.

  • Ability to create leadership-ready presentations in MS PowerPoint that communicate complex concepts clearly.

  • Produces clear, enterprise-ready data using PowerBI with documentation in MS Word to communicate complex concepts.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work well both independently as well as within a team oriented environment
