Overview

Work and train with the industry's finest professionals! FlatironDragados's Intern Program provides rewarding work opportunities for students.ย  As an Intern with FlatironDragados Canada, you will be given the opportunity to apply your academic training and skills in a real-world setting on some of the most exciting and technically challenging construction projects in North America

What you will be doing
  • Daily maintenance and audit of the company's in-house CRM system; providing up to date sales and customer information
  • Daily scan and review of bid sitesย 
  • In depth research of core and emerging marketsย 
  • Coordinate and provide support in reviewing and preparing briefs for pursuits
  • Assist with preparing capture plans
  • Support with updates to the company's sales pipeline
  • Organize and coordinate various collateral and sales materials for the BD department
  • Support and maintain the in-house sharepoint site
  • Maintain and coordinate updates to the company's key client accountsย 
  • Attend industry webinars
  • Perform all other related tasks that will help the business development team,
  • Provide active documentation assistance
What we are looking for
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or other related discipline is an asset although not mandatory.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (French will be considered an asset).ย 
  • Possess interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across different departments
  • Ability to work independently and be a self starterย 
  • Ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven environment
  • A keen interest in infrastructure projects
  • Proficient with MS Suite of Tools including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Sharepoint
  • Understanding of business A.I. Tools and other design software tools including InDesign and Adobe Illustrator
