We are currently seeking a new Foundation Manager with excellent communication skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to think outside the box.  In this vital role, you will use your relationship-building, organization, and communication skills to help strengthen our foundations reach and impact within the communities we serve. As the Foundation Manager, you will drive donor engagement, support fundraising and monthly giving programs, manage key reporting and donor data, and help bring Foundation events and community outreach initiatives to life. You’ll collaborate with donors, volunteers, local partners, Board members, and hospital teams to grow support for vital health initiatives and connect the community to the Foundation’s mission.

What You’ll Do

  • Full-time position, Monday – Friday, hours are flexible given the position requires up to two evenings per month and some weekend times.
  • Manage all data input for Foundation online donor management and fundraising system (presently “DonorPerfect”), including data about donors, gifts, pledges, or in-kind donations.
  • Periodically cross-reference DonorPerfect data with data documented in  Foundation accounting software (presently “QuickBooks®”).
  • Prepare financial reports for monthly review at meetings of the Foundation Finance Committee or Foundation Board of Directors.
  • Prepare Foundation event profit and loss reports for Committee review.
  • Use DonorPerfect to prepare monthly reports about giving, lapsed donors, engagement rates, and other relevant metrics.
  • Coordinate monthly giving program through development and maintenance of print and digital mailing lists of program participants, solicitation of new participants and donations, and provision of quarterly updates to such participants.
  • Develop and use email creative and marketing collateral that engage prospective donors, and assess efficacy of such use toward meeting Foundation objectives.
  • Collaborate with Foundation website designers to ensure that website content related to the Foundation remains current and pertinent.
  • Liaison with external media agency to manage Foundation social media calendar and messaging.
  • As is appropriate, prepare and schedule social media posts (e.g. on Foundation Facebook account) that relate to Foundation activity.
  • Through use of success metrics, assess Foundation social media engagement, and prepare monthly reports about such activity.
  • Serve as a Foundation representative in interaction with the community and other external entities.
  • Maintain Foundation relationships with current or prospective supporters, and, as is appropriate, attend meetings of applicable local groups (e.g. Chambers of Commerce).
  • Engage community businesses and organizations and share Foundation message by attending events and working with local leaders.
  • Manage monthly Foundation-sponsored forums designed to drive community awareness about key health topics.
  • Present information about the Foundation to interested groups, organization, or other parties.
  • Schedule, plan, organize, and help to carry out Foundation events through solicitation of needed vendors and volunteers, assessment of potential event sites, management of Event Planning Committee meetings and related communication, and assistance with event activity in manner that maximizes probability of event success.
  • Serve on internal and external committees as is appropriate.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Foundation Executive Director.

What You’ll Need

  • Aptitude in verbal and written communication 
  • Comfortable engaging with the public, including donors and prospective donors; recruiting volunteers; and collaborating with Foundation Board members and hospital staff.
  • Possession of United States proof of citizenship or right to work in the United States 
  • Possession of a driver’s license or analogous identification 
  • Willingness to participate in Hospital orientation and educational in-service
