Job description

WHAT WE'RE DOING
At Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, we're driven by a shared mission to make a profound impact on the world through our innovative aerospace products. Every day, our talented team of professionals comes together to tackle some of the most complex engineering challenges, leveraging our collective expertise to design, build, and deliver cutting-edge solutions that transform the way people live and work.
We are on a bold mission to redefine the future of flight. By uniting cutting edge aerospace engineering with next generation digital infrastructure, we are not just building an aircraft-we are building the foundation for next-generation aircraft.
THEWORK
As the Program Manager for a clean-sheet design, you will own the endtoend execution of the program, driving schedule, cost, performance, and risk targets while coordinating a multidisciplinary team of engineers, supply chain and multi-disciplined professionals to interface with regulators and commercial partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
Program Leadership - Define, maintain, and communicate the program baseline (schedule, budget, performance metrics); Lead integrated productdevelopment teams (airframe, propulsion, systems, avionics, certification, operations); Chair program review boards and provide concise status briefings to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Schedule & Cost Management - Develop the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS); monitor critical path, forecast variances, and initiate corrective actions; Own the program budget (cost to complete, earned value), track cash flow, and report financial health to Finance and Executives; Conduct trade studies and value engineering reviews to protect margin while meeting performance goals.
Risk & Opportunity Management
Stakeholder & Partner Management - Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial customers, airline partners, and government agencies (FAA, DoD, EASA); Partner with supply chain to negotiate contracts, milestones, and deliverables with Tier 1 suppliers and subcontractors; Coordinate with Business Development, Marketing, and Legal to align commercial strategy with technical delivery.
WHO WE ARE
Our customers are world-wide and so is our reputation for creating original solutions with the latest technologies. Our products keep our customers safe and bring them home to their families at night. We provide the resources, inspiration, and focus - if you have the resourcefulness, passion and perseverance to work hard, then we want to create a better tomorrow with you.
WHO YOU ARE
You are the catalyst who transforms raw data into decisive advantage, empowering the cross functional design team to ideate, innovate and deliver at the pace required by the market. With a proven track record in aerospace program management-especially in commercial and novel technology platforms-you blend deep technical expertise with a datadriven mindset, using analytics and automated workflows to cut risk, trim cost, and accelerate schedules. You thrive on turning complex, crossfunctional challenges into clear, strategic outcomes, and you relish the opportunity to lead this exciting project at the core of an iconic aerospace organization.
