Department: Membership Sales Reports To: Sales Manager Status: Non-Exempt JOB SUMMARY Program Directors are responsible for promoting and selling gym memberships for Xperience Fitness, as well as contributing to all aspects of a positive customer experience, which includes informing and encouraging potential members, aiding in club cleanliness, and assisting in customer service. Program Directors also guide and direct members through the enrollment process, which includes a clear understanding of the club procedures as well as a transparent explanation of our membership options. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greets, introduces and welcomes all guests into the gym Promotes and sells gym memberships to increase revenues for the business Books the required amount of appointments daily with potential clients Increases awareness of the facility to the surrounding community by generating leads Conducts tours of the facility and gives guidance to customers by suggesting which membership option is best suited for them Ensures that all prospective members receive appropriate and adequate information Answers questions in person and over the phone to our current members and potential members Consistently supports and contributes to help team meet and exceed monthly sales goals Maintains and cleans his/her work space daily Dresses professionally and looks presentable at all times wearing company assigned uniform Manages all of his/her calls, appointments, booking percentages, average EFT, and NMS collections Other duties may be assigned, such as cleaning and front desk responsibilities REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Has the ability to initiate conversations with guests, and current members over the phone and in person Works well in a team environment and contributes to the team to help reach monthly goals Willingness to work evenings and weekends Must have a "selling" personality and strives to succeed in a professional environment Has the capability to recite scripts that are provided Arrives to work on time for every shift and possesses the ability to meet daily expectations Able to multitask, work independently and has time management skills Capable of working in a fast paced, ever changing environment REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or Equivalency Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office, and Internet Explorer CPR/AED & First Aid certifications (must be obtained within 90 days of hire) Must attend the Company's "I am Brand" Workshop within 90 days of hire Must attend the Company's "SLII" Workshop within 90 days of hire View HR Training Video upon completion of new hire paperwork.
