Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Program Director to join our team at New Dawn Treatment Center in Loomis, CA. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our mission by providing compassionate support and effective therapeutic interventions to individuals seeking recovery. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of those we serve.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct on-site clinical staff.
  • Conduct monthly inventory checks and place orders as necessary.
  • Works closely with the Clinical Director to develop and manage program services and budgets.
  • Report any maintenance, site, or IT issues, and collaborate with the appropriate teams to ensure timely resolution and completion.
  • Identify and report on risk management and compliance issues.
  • Oversee and manage client incidents, ensuring they are addressed promptly and effectively, and ensure that incident reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Facilitate appropriate therapeutic groups and individual therapy sessions.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients.
  • Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy.
  • Support clients through crisis intervention and management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Facilitate family involvement in the treatment process when appropriate.
  • Stay current with best practices in mental health and addiction counseling.
  • May have a limited caseload as necessary. 


Qualifications

  • Certified Substance Use Disorder Counselor, APCC, ACSW or AMFT, required.  
  • Must have at least two (2) years of experience working with individuals with substance use disorder.  
  • Must have and maintain a valid California driver’s license, clean driving record, and maintain personal auto insurance coverage. 
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required. 
  • Must have a current TB test or chest x-ray. 
  • Knowledge of the requirements for providing services needed to clients.  
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.  
  • Experience in electronic charting preferred. 
  • Experience with conducting client group sessions, and one on one sessions is required.   
  • Strong understanding of the principles and application of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).  
  • Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA and CFR-42 client confidentiality regulations.  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as part of a team.  
  • Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines. 
  • Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
