The Central Texas Food Bank (CTFB) is the largest hunger-relief organization in Central Texas and a proud member of the Feeding America network. From its headquarters in Austin and its satellite facility in Waco, CTFB serves a 21-county region on a mission to increase food access by providing nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts, and transforming lives through programs, education, and innovative solutions. Through a combination of direct service programs and a network of approximately 250 nonprofit community partners, CTFB supports over 612,000 food-insecure individuals annually. We have a community-focused culture that values Service, Integrity, Dignity, Collaboration, and Innovation.

  • Content Scheduling: Schedule, publish, and manage content across all social media platforms according to established content calendars and campaign timelines while being flexible to just in time or emergency operations content.
  • Audience Engagement: Coordinate audience engagement activities across digital channels by creating and publishing content, responding to inquiries, and fostering meaningful interactions that support organizational goals. Identify and communicate engagement trends and insights to support content planning.
  • Digital Campaign Support: Support the department (as necessary) in executing social media and digital communication strategies that require assisting with story gathering, interviews, and content development.
  • Social media publishing: Coordinate the publishing of content across social media platforms by scheduling posts, maintaining the content calendar, and ensuring timely, accurate, and brand-consistent communications.
  • Social listening: Monitor social media channels and online conversations to identify audience trends, respond or route inquiries as appropriate, and share insights that support audience engagement, brand reputation, and content planning.
  • Social analytics reporting: Monitor and report on social media performance by tracking key metrics, analyzing audience engagement, and providing insights to improve content effectiveness and support data-informed marketing decisions.
  • Community management: Engage with online audiences by monitoring social media channels, responding to comments and messages, and encouraging meaningful interactions that strengthen community relationships.
  • Platform management: Maintain CTFB's digital platforms by performing quality assurance reviews, coordinating routine enhancements, and ensuring accurate, accessible, and brand-consistent user experience.
  • Values alignment: Demonstrates the organization's values of Service, Integrity, Dignity, Collaboration, and Innovation by consistently reflecting these principles in decisions, actions, and interactions with team members, volunteers, partners, and the community.
  • Other: Perform other duties as assigned.
