Job description

Summary
The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis leads a high-performing team to shape, drive, and influence business performance in alignment with Allegiant’s strategic objectives by providing financial planning and analytical support. The Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial planning processes and providing value-maximizing decision support for assigned departments, while fostering a culture of proactive problem-solving, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education:  Bachelor’s Degree
Education Details:  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA.
Years of Experience:  Minimum three (3) years of experience in relevant analytical and/or finance role at a divisional or corporate level with at least two years of analyst experience. Managerial experience is a plus.
 
Preferred Requirements
•Demonstrated leadership experience.
•Strong technical background and expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), SAP and SQL.
•Experience developing complex, multivariable models derived from large datasets.
•Experience leveraging artificial intelligence tools.
•Airline or related experience in a financial planning support role.
 
Job Duties
•Lead financial planning, budgeting, reporting and forecasting processes for assigned departments.
•Provide effective decision-support, developing advanced financial models and conducting analysis using a broad range of quantitative tools and techniques to evaluate business initiatives and cost-saving opportunities.
•Deliver clear, actionable insights, guide decision-making and influence Allegiant’s financial performance using metrics reporting, key performance indicators, and executive reporting.
•Support and promote departmental initiatives by analyzing and validating assumptions and inputs, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial and operational goals.
•Partner cross-functionally to deliver decision-support and ensure optimal resource allocation to adapt to changing business needs and organizational priorities.
•Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to diverse audiences.
•Identify and drive continuous improvement efforts across FP&A processes and tools.
•Support and manage team performance and development through mentorship, oversight, team building-activities and fostering culture of trust, inclusion and high performance.
•Promote and demonstrate best practices, structured, proactive problem-solving, analytical rigor and Allegiant’s customer service standards.
•Other duties as assigned or directed.

May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
