Job description

The Program Manager owns end-to-end execution of the Amazon Devices Climate Tech Accelerator, a program that discovers and integrates external decarbonization technologies into Amazon Devices and Services products, services, and operations. This role drives program delivery across all phases, manages the relationship with our third-party operator, coordinates cross-functional Amazon stakeholders, and ensures cohort companies advance toward product integration.
Key job responsibilities
Own the full program timeline from Pre-Launch through Pitch Day, ensuring milestones are met on schedule
Drive Integration Assessment document development as the final document owner, finalizing content and leadership recommendations
Determine company advancement decisions during the Integration Assessment phase and manage off-ramp processes when needed
Third-Party Operator Management
Serve as the primary Amazon point of contact for the program operator
Hold the operator accountable to contractual deliverables including application quality, event execution, and cohort coaching
Enforce acceptance criteria, manage remediation processes, and escalate when standards are not met
Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with Product Lines, Subject Matter Experts, Science team, and senior leadership throughout selection and evaluation
Manage judging panel onboarding, scheduling, and evaluation workflows
Facilitate deliberation sessions for cohort selection decisions
Serve as Amazon Mentor to assigned cohort companies
Event Management
Lead planning and execution of the Technology Showcase and Pitch Day events
Own the run of show, speaker coordination, agenda, and logistics oversight
Selection and Evaluation
Lead the hybrid evaluation process combining operator screening, AI-enhanced carbon impact assessment, and team analysis
Manage the application-to-cohort funnel from initial submissions through final selection
Qualifications
Required
Five or more years of program or product management experience, preferably in hardware, sustainability, or technology acceleration
Experience managing third-party vendor relationships with contractual accountability
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs
Strong written communication skills aligned with Amazon's document-driven culture
Experience planning and executing multi-day international events
Ability to work across global time zones
Preferred
Familiarity with Technology Readiness Levels and Manufacturing Readiness Levels
Understanding of Life Cycle Assessment methodology and carbon measurement
Experience with climate technology, hardware integration, or supply chain decarbonization
Background in accelerator or incubator program management
