You will be expected to build consensus across stakeholders, influence without direct authority, communicate effectively with senior leaders, and use data to identify opportunities, measure impact, and sustain change.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex, cross-functional programs that improve productivity, effectiveness, scalability, and execution discipline across the Global Sales and Marketing organization
  • Apply continuous improvement methods to identify process gaps, reduce friction, simplify ways of working, and drive measurable business outcomes
  • Partner with sales, marketing, commercial operations, customer experience, pricing, finance, and other stakeholder groups to prioritize and execute strategic transformation initiatives
  • Build stakeholder alignment and consensus across functions, regions, and leadership teams while balancing global consistency with regional and functional needs
  • Develop project charters, business cases, roadmaps, milestones, governance structures, KPIs, and implementation plans that clearly define ownership, outcomes, and success measures
  • Analyze data, process performance, stakeholder feedback, and operational metrics to diagnose root causes, size opportunities, and track benefits realization
  • Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and governance forums using project and program management, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and change management principles where appropriate
  • Create and execute communication, change management, and adoption plans that help teams understand, support, and sustain new ways of working
  • Communicate program progress, risks, decisions, tradeoffs, and opportunities to senior leadership with clarity, confidence, and appropriate executive presence
  • Coach project teams and stakeholders on structured problem solving, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement behaviors
  • Serve as a trusted transformation partner who can lead from the front while also getting into the details necessary to solve problems and deliver results

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, marketing, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience leading complex projects, programs, transformation initiatives, or continuous improvement efforts in sales, marketing, commercial operations, or a related business environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment in a matrixed organization
  • Strong analytical capability, including the ability to work with data, identify insights, and translate findings into practical business actions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Global Sales and Marketing, commercial operations, sales operations, strategy, transformation, or business process improvement
  • Project Management Professional certification, Lean Six Sigma certification, Agile training, or equivalent practical experience
  • Practical experience with continuous improvement tools such as process mapping, root cause analysis, problem solving, KPI development, benefits tracking, and standard work
  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex issues, frame decisions, and present recommendations to senior leaders
  • Proven change management experience, including stakeholder engagement, adoption planning, and communications
  • Curiosity, ownership, structure, resilience, and the ability to shift between strategic thinking and hands-on execution

At Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right person for this or other roles.
