Job description

NOTE:This is a proposal requisition; all employment discussions/offers are fully contingent upon contract award.
PROGRAM MANAGER (PM) - TASK ORDER (TO) MANAGER
The PM shall serve as the Client's single TO Manager and shall be the contractor's authorized interface with the FEDSIM CO, FEDSIM COR, and USASOC TPOC for the TO.
Primary Duties
  • Responsible for overall TO performance
  • Responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel
  • Communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates
  • Initiate new requirement process, organize and implement program methodologies
  • Ensure inputs are coordinated from functional and technical personnel
  • Supervising and executing program management operational functions, including all meetings, reviews, and status reports
It is required that the PM has the following qualifications
  • Possess a current Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) or PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
  • Possess a final Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
  • The PM shall work within a local commuting distance of 50 miles from USASOC Headquarters, located at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC and shall be required to occasionally travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
It is desired that the PM has the following qualifications
  • Experience effectively directing and managing contract functions supporting SOF customers involving multiple, complex, and interrelated project tasks of similar scope to the TOR and experience managing and controlling a dispersed workforce that is engaged with multiple technical stakeholders.
  • Experience formulating and reviewing task plans and deliverable items while serving in the U.S. military or other Federal Government agencies at the Brigade or equivalent level.
  • Experience conducting financial planning, forecasting, and budget development.
  • Possess ten years or more of relevant senior leadership or program management, with USSOCOM projects of similar scope and complexity involving operational and analytical support of DoD and interagency partners on a global scale.
  • Possess ten years or more of relevant program or project management experience. This experience includes manpower utilization, procurement of Materials and Equipment, standards, training, problem resolution, and employee relations (including subcontractors), cost, budget, and managing performance to milestones.
  • Possess a minimum of five years of experience in special operations intelligence or operational experience within the SOF (SOF) community.
