Job Description:
  • Join our team to gain hands-on experience in organizational operations, project coordination, and workforce development. This internship is designed for service members transitioning to civilian careers in administrative leadership, HR, finance/accounting, talent acquisition, or project/program management. You'll work alongside experienced professionals to learn best practices in managing people, resources, and deliverables.

The SkillBridge Administrative/Project Management Intern shall possess the following capabilities:
Training Areas:
  • Human Resources processes, talent acquisition, and onboarding.
  • Project coordination, scheduling, and progress tracking.
  • Finance & accounting fundamentals for business operations.
  • Cross-functional communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Tools: Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams, project management platforms (e.g., MS Project, Trello, or Jira), Unanet, Paylocity, Taleo.

What You'll Learn:
  • Translating military planning skills into civilian project management.
  • Applying process improvement techniques to real-world workflows.
  • Understanding the employee lifecycle from recruiting to offboarding.
  • Managing budgets, invoices, and operational reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Has served at least 180 days on active duty.
  • Is within 180 days of separation or retirement.
  • Will receive honorable discharge.
  • Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS.
  • Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months.
  • Received Unit Commander authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of internship.
  • NOTE: SkillBridge interns will not be eligible for any compensation during their internship, as they will continue to receive all military pay and benefits. Upon successful completion of this internship, you will be well prepared and encouraged to apply for open positions listed on our careers page.

Pay Range: Unpaid Internship
