Job description

Here at Stop & Shop, we've been serving our customers and neighborhoods for more than a century. A lot has changed in that time, but one thing hasn't: Stop & Shop is a place where everyone can thrive and feel like they're part of family.

Our more than 50,000 associates enjoy competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits and discounts to support professional and personal journeys and flexibility that fits their lives.

We invite you to pull up a seat and discover the ways you can make an impact. There's always room at our table!

Are you a third-year pharmacy student eager to apply your skills in a supportive, real-world setting? At Stop & Shop, our pharmacies are more than just a place to fill prescriptions - they're a hub for care, compassion, and community wellness.

Our pharmacy teams play an essential role in improving the health of our customers by providing trusted advice, medication and therapy management, and immunization services. If you're passionate about helping others live healthier, happier lives, we'd love for you to consider joining us as a Pharmacy Intern.

At Stop & Shop, we're more than a grocery store - we're a team of colleagues and community members who take pride in helping people feel their best.

What we ask of you:

  • Support pharmacists in providing outstanding patient care in line with state and federal regulations

  • Assist with pharmacy operations - including prescription processing, medication therapy management, and immunizations - under the supervision of a pharmacist

  • Use our pharmacy dispensing software to help manage patient and medication information

  • Engage with customers by answering questions, assisting with product location, and helping ensure every visit is a positive one

  • Help maintain an organized and well-stocked pharmacy by assisting with inventory management and product storage

  • Support pharmacy team operations, including point-of-sale transactions and general administrative tasks

  • Uphold company policies, maintain professional relationships, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive work environment

  • Take part in special assignments and learning opportunities as directed by the pharmacist

What you bring to the table:

  • A genuine interest in supporting the health and well-being of others

  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a caring and collaborative approach

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy program, with eligibility to administer vaccinations

  • A valid Pharmacy Intern license in good standing with your state's Board of Pharmacy.

  • Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including evenings and weekends

What we bring to the table:

  • Culture committed to celebrating diverse backgrounds and experiences

  • Comprehensive benefits

  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth

  • Associate discounts

  • Team of associates dedicated to serving our local customers and supporting our communities

If you are passionate about customer service, thrive in a dynamic environment, and are committed to making a difference, we invite you to apply.

15-22 P/H
