Job description

Summer 2026 \u007C Astacio Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical

Astacio Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is a trusted, full-service home services provider serving Norwalk, CT and surrounding communities. We specialize in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical solutions for both residential and commercial customers, with a strong commitment to fixing before replacing, delivering quality workmanship, and standing behind every job we do.

We are seeking an Operations Management Trainee Intern (MBA) to work directly with leadership and gain hands-on experience running a local service business. This is not a traditional internship—you will be embedded in daily operations, contributing to real business outcomes across service, installation, and customer experience.

Our team takes pride in doing the job right the first time—and if something isn’t right, we make it right. That mindset drives everything we do.

Internship Overview

  • Timing: Summer 2026 (flexible start/end dates)
  • Duration: Flexible (typically 8–12+ weeks)
  • Location: Norwalk, CT (on-site)
  • Commitment: Full-time (40+ hours/week)

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with leadership to support day-to-day operations across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service lines
  • Analyze key business metrics to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency
  • Work alongside dispatch, technicians, and customer service to understand the full customer lifecycle
  • Help improve customer satisfaction, service quality, and operational performance
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and development of frontline team members

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience operating a multi-trade home services business
  • Exposure to real-time problem solving in a field-driven environment
  • Direct mentorship from experienced operators
  • The opportunity to make a measurable impact on a growing local company

Candidate Profile

  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program
  • Strong interest in operations, general management, or business leadership
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Analytical, proactive, and eager to take initiative

Our Values

  • Customer Commitment: We go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction
  • Do the Right Thing: We prioritize repairs and honest solutions first
  • Take Pride in the Work: No job is too small, and every job matters
  • Accountability: We stand behind our work—every time
