Description

The Integrated Planner defines and executes short-term production schedules and supply plans by utilizing variety of tools including Excel, SAP, and OMP. The position requires analytical skills, strong influence and communication skills, and the ability to develop and execute complex plans in support of business, customer, and manufacturing strategies. The planner will regularly interface with procurement representatives, demand planners, manufacturing area leaders, logistics, materials handling, engineers, and sales representatives.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and optimize supply plans to maximize value through a focus on asset optimization, plant balancing, logistics costs, inventory control, and product transition minimization.
  • Manage all site scheduling within appropriate systems (i.e., SAP, OMP, etc.) and effectively communicate planning strategy with impacted stakeholders.
  • Build a strong connect with and interface with Materials Handling, Manufacturing, Logistics, QA, Receiving, Purchasing, and other planning groups.
  • Participate in various re-occurring meeting ranging from production meetings on daily basis, to various supply routine meetings on weekly or monthly basis.
  • Responsible for Master Data management on an ongoing basis.
  • Monitor key S&OE and S&OP metrics.
  • Seek opportunities to optimize raw material stocking and procurement strategies in collaboration with Supply Manager and support ABP plant balancing and reconciliations.
  • Model "what-if" scenarios and propose optimized solutions based on variable supply/demand conditions.
  • Assist with inventory adjustment analysis including storage location proposals.
  • Execute the business plan inventory targets. Refresh the safety stock, target stock and cycle stock calculations a minimum of twice a year.
  • Provide report input or updates. Continually seek ways to improve information visibility and availability.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of key customers, markets and products in area of responsibility.
  • Improve planning effectiveness via development and/or enhancement of planning models, processes and tools.
  • Identify, communicate, and upscale variances from plan. Manage and resolve variances and exceptions.
Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study.
  • Minimum two year’s experience with the following skills: MRP II principles and concepts; Integrated Business Planning routines, Supply Chain processes; general Order-to-Cash processes (from sales order entry to goods issue completion).
  • Requires experience with the following skills: MRP II principles and concepts; Supply Chain processes; Statistical Analysis (hypothesis testing, regression, or design of experiments); and Mathematical Modeling (simulation or optimization).
  • Ability to formulate good judgments and clear rationale in making decisions, considering all relevant inputs and alternatives.
  • Outlook and Microsoft applications (especially advanced Excel skills) skills are required.
  • Experience with SAP and planning and scheduling software is preferred.
