Job description

H- Project Manager I

Re-entry Program Manager

EOHHS

    • This position will support implementation of Section 5121 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023. It is funded by the federal Centers for Medicaid & Medicaid Services under the CMS โ€œState Grants to Promote Continuity of Care Following Incarceration.โ€ This position will be responsible for coordination of grant-related activities and serve as the point of contact for state agency staff at EOHHS, RI Department of Corrections, and the RI Department of Children, Youth, and Families working on reentry services as well as other contractors engaged in this work. The Program Manager will:ย 
      • Serve as the Medicaid reentry services subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders
      • Ensure alignment with CMS guidance for all Medicaid reentry authorities, including but not limited to Section 5121 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023.ย ย 
      • Provide project management for key tasks and objectives in implementing Section 5121 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 and any future reentry-related Medicaid authorities.
      • Coordinate EOHHS and RIDOC to track grant related activities, processes, and outcomes.ย 
      • Convene and coordinate the Community Advisory Group.ย 
    • Required skills and experience: The individual will hold at least a Bachelorโ€™s degree in a related field with 3-5 years of experience in project management and/or public administration. Candidates with experience working with correctional facilities and/or Medicaid programs will be preferred.
