This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Earned Value Management (EVM) professional who thrives in a complex, fast-paced defense program environment. The Senior EVM Cost Analyst will serve as a key leader within the program's business management team, responsible for ensuring cost, schedule, and performance integrity across a major cost-reimbursable, cost-redeterminable contract. This role demands technical mastery, independent judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with peers, program leadership, and external stakeholders.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead CAM reviews (metric, staffing, timephasing, etc)
  • Update, at least monthly, performance metrics and utilize validity checks to verify data
  • Craft clear and concise variance explanations
  • Reconcile EV data with accounting book of record
  • Change management - disposition baseline change requests and update contract log
  • Track incremental funding and advise contract manager
  • Prepare quarterly EAC presentations and annual comprehensive EAC presentations
  • Participate in earned value surveillance internally and externally
  • Determine rate change impacts and effect on gross margin
  • Travel up to 10%

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Understanding of EVMS principles, FAR/DFARS requirements, and EIA-748 guidelines
  • Experience with generating accurate sales and financial forecasts

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience with industry-standard EVM tools (e.g., Cobra, Empower, wInsight, EVMS forProject)
  • Prior experience working with DCMA & DCAA
  • Active Security Clearance and/or Ability to obtain Security Clearance
  • Experience influencing without authority and drive disciplined program execution.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
