Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Program Director to join our team! In this role you will get to lead a global, high-impact technical program supporting federal partners and advancing national security.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Manage the entirety of the contract and execute all tasks outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) as the full-time, dedicated Program Manager.
• Lead a global team of engineers and technical professionals, ensuring delivery of high-quality programmatic and technical documentation and deliverables.
• Direct staffing for the program, including recruitment, onboarding, and identifying candidates to fill personnel vacancies.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports and deliverables as required by the customer, including invoicing and cost tracking.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer regarding all program aspects, including technical issues, finance, and schedule.
• Maintain access to upper management to secure necessary resources for the program promptly.
• Participate in all formal program reviews and maintain close liaison with the customer for actions taken pursuant to the contract.
• Ensure complete and timely delivery of the Program Management Plan (PMP) and periodic status reports for each task.
• Develop and maintain project plans with milestones for operations and technical planning, integrating them into an overall master schedule for program-wide planning, deconfliction, and prioritization of resources.
• Maintain an emergency contact list for all team members and an accurate, current list of all contractors aligned with tasks through a Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS).
• Work closely with Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) and Contracting Officer (CO) to facilitate rapid planning and accomplishment of critical objectives.
• Adhere strictly to all security constraints for projects and reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize workflow, quality, and efficiency.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS or higher) in engineering or a related technical field, and 20 years of total experience or Master's Degree and 18 years of total experience.
• Minimum 10 years as a Program Manager/Technical lead or in a similar capacity, leading high-performing teams, with specific experience in the intelligence community
• Project Management certification from a professional organization outside of internal company training (e.g., PMP).
• Active TS Security clearance is required
• Willingness to travel up to 20% OCONUS and have a US Passport.
