Our Woburn facility combines the best of both worlds: an outpatient office that fosters collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Our counselors have the option to schedule sessions during evenings or weekends, allowing for personalized treatment offerings to accommodate the diverse needs of our clients. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, who share a common goal of improving patient outcomes through integrated care practices.

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and related mental health issues.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that address both addiction and any underlying mental health conditions, ensuring each client receives a holistic approach to their care.
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques that encourage engagement and motivation.
• Collaborating with our team to provide comprehensive integrated care, ensuring that all aspects of the client’s treatment align with their needs and goals.
• Educating and involving clients' families in the recovery process, creating a support network that enhances the treatment plan.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of client progress and treatment interventions in compliance with state regulations and best practices.

Our primary focus is individuals struggling with substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcohol, opioids, and stimulants. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may also face co-occurring mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. Your role will be vital in providing compassionate care and facilitating their recovery journey through personalized support and targeted therapeutic interventions.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Possession of a valid mental health license, such as LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated training or experience specific to addiction counseling and recovery.
• A strong understanding of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders is essential.
• Outstanding therapeutic skills and the ability to inspire and motivate clients towards their recovery goals.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

While a Bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement, candidates with specialized training in addiction counseling or previous experience in outpatient settings are preferred. Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with trauma-informed care principles will also be advantageous.

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and professional credentials. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
