Job description

Location:  St. Illa | 3455 Harris Rd., Waycross                                                                    
Closing date:  open until filled

Hourly Rate: $28.00

Job Description:  Provide nursing care duties to clients in an inpatient substance abuse treatment program.  The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; be able to communicate and work with a variety of people including those with substance abuse issues and with dual diagnoses, with co-workers, and with community partners; and be able to work as a team member with other staff.  He/she will be able to apply verbal and written instructions and applicable skills from trainings; will be able to maintain professional boundaries, will be proficient with computers, manage time efficiently and participate in compliance. Will be trained on educating the clients on meds once weekly as mandated by DBHDD. Preference for experience with or knowledge of trauma informed, resilience-oriented care.

 

Position Schedule: Will work up to 29 hours per week; schedule will vary.

Competencies:   Ability to identify medication, assist physician, convey patient’s information to physician and maintain accurate medical records of treatments, medications, symptoms, and patient condition.   Proficient with computers and skilled in routine medical procedures.

Required Minimum Qualifications:  Must have a valid Georgia LPN license with no limitations.
