Founded in 1999, MotherWoman is a non-profit organization which creates communities of supports for mothers and families; we do this by building community safety nets, impacting family policy and promoting the leadership and resilience of mothers.
Job Description
SUMMARY: Working under the supervision of the Program Director, the Program Coordinator provides support in all administrative, outreach and marketing aspects of the MotherWoman Programs; including trainings, support groups, facilitator certification and coalitions. MotherWoman is currently expanding programs thus this is a position in which there will be a focus on both maintaining implementation practices, as well as the expansion of our programs.
HOURS: 20-25 hours per week
COMPENSATION: $20,000-24,050 annually, non-exempt position
BENEFITS: Pro-rated paid personal time off and sick leave. Flexible work schedule
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Coordination:
  • Coordinate all training specific details; including applications, logistics, necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure production, completion and distribution of all program-related materials
  • Implement evaluation follow-up protocols including participant evaluation reports for pre and post trainings
  • Oversee CEU applications and updates
Administrative:
  • Coordinate all administrative details of MotherWoman trainings, webinars, meetings and events; including dates, times, logistics, travel plans and venues
  • Provide relationship-based customer service for all MotherWoman programming, including responding through email, phone and social media
  • Maintain general office duties such as computer files and projects in Google Docs and Drop Box
  • Maintain participant databases, including entering data, calling reports, tagging appropriately
  • Participate in staff meetings and other relevant planning meetings
  • Work with interns providing supervision and guidance

Marketing and Outreach:
  • Maintain, and create as necessary, systems to track inquiries and follow up with interested organizations and individuals
  • Oversee and/or develop promotional materials for each training, in coordination with Program Director and other team members
  • Promote trainings and MotherWoman programs to prospective participants and organization leaders using various platforms: MotherWoman website, social media, Constant Contact, emails, etc.
  • Serve as a liaison between MotherWoman and organizations interested in trainings

Fiscal Reporting:
  • Track financial transactions with host organizations, training venues and participants, including scholarship applications, securing deposits and final payments
  • File expense reports and cash advances

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor Degree or 2 years experience in related fields
  • Superior verbal and writing skills, high attention to detail and follow-up, exceptional organizational skills
  • Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills
  • Experience with successful event planning
  • Demonstrated skill and knowledge of Microsoft Office, In Design,
  • Constant Contact, Event Bright and databases. E-Tapestry's Next Step experience is preferred. Competence with publishing programs is a plus.
  • Exceptional skill in social media - Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
  • Experience working with interns and volunteers
  • Exhibits high degree of cultural competency and sensitivity
  • An exceptional work ethic, creative problem solving skills, a track record of personal initiative and resourcefulness required.
  • Superior ability to multi-task
  • Valid driver's license preferred and a willingness to travel
  • Commitment to MotherWoman mission
