Job description

Job Summary: 

The program director will be responsible for program therapy development, implementation, and follow-up.   Provides education for the treatment team as well as direct supervision of therapy staff.  Facilitates direct therapies as needed, as well as assure clinical integrity of program.  Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served; also demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed. Participates in clinical and administrative call for the program. And other duties as assigned.

Performance Expectations:

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served; also demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed. Qualifications:

Education/Skills        

Master degree in social work, psychology, or related field from an accredited school is required.

Work Experience:    

Two years of full-time clinical experience is required. Supervisory experience is preferred.

            Certification/Licensure-DUE UPON HIRE

  • Current license to practice with the MS State
