As a Field Services Business Development Manager based in Allentown, PA, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and maintaining strong client relationships within the environmental services sector. You will represent Clearsite's values by ensuring safe operations and delivering exceptional service to customers across various industries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prioritizing health and safety by adhering to safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Developing new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers, generating leads, and securing Field Services work such as hazardous waste remediation, tank cleaning, and emergency response.
  • Collaborating with internal sales teams and building strong relationships with local branches to maximize revenue and service delivery.
  • Meeting quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining daily awareness of sales activities and results.
  • Tracking and managing activities, opportunities, and accounts using CRM tools, leveraging insights to develop strategies and cross-sell services.
  • Negotiating pricing and contract terms to secure profitable business.
  • Serving as the primary contact and problem solver for assigned accounts and new business opportunities.
  • Assisting with the collection of invoiced revenue from customers.
  • Addressing obstacles promptly and taking decisive action to resolve issues.
  • Cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve program goals and position Clearsite as an indispensable partner.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including account management and business development
  • Experience meeting revenue targets or quotas in sales or account management roles
  • Experience in Field Services or Industrial Services
  • Background resolving customer issues related to RCRA, DOT, CERCLA, environmental remediation, emergency response, or industrial high-pressure cleaning
  • Experience using software to track and manage accounts, opportunities, and sales activities
  • Valid driver's license
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to travel as needed for customer and site visits (mostly day trips)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in sales or business management
  • Experience negotiating pricing and contract terms in a B2B sales context
  • Experience in industrial or environmental services
  • OSHA/HazWOPER or other relevant safety or field certification
  • Experience managing B2B customer relationships in utilities, construction, municipalities, or industrial facilities/plants
