Job description

The Chicagoland Jiffy Lube Co-op is seeking an experienced Fleet Sales Business Development Manager to develop and expand commercial fleet relationships throughout the Chicagoland market. This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity for a self-directed sales professional who operates independently and is responsible for generating new business opportunities and expanding commercial fleet utilization across participating Jiffy Lube locations within Chicagoland. You will use your network, sales expertise, and business development strategies to find and secure new fleet partnerships and strengthen relationships with existing fleet accounts.

Scope of Services & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue commercial fleet opportunities within the Chicagoland market.
  • Develop relationships with local businesses, municipalities, contractors, and other organizations operating vehicle fleets.
  • Present Jiffy Lube fleet service programs and negotiate mutually beneficial service agreements.
  • Expand utilization of existing fleet relationships through ongoing account development.
  • Maintain professional relationships with fleet decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions to generate business opportunities.
  • Provide periodic updates regarding business development activities and revenue generated from fleet accounts.
  • Collaborate with designated Co-op representatives regarding fleet program offerings and account onboarding.
Qualifications
  • Proven success in business-to-business sales, account development, or commercial relationship management.
  • Established professional network within the Chicagoland business community.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.
  • Experience in fleet services, automotive services, transportation, or related industries is preferred.
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g, Salesforce, HubSpot) and Google Suite
Compensation
  • $70,000 to $80,000 Base
  • Targeted Commission plan ($40,000+)
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Monthly stipend to assist with health insurance
Independent Contractor Status
  • Will not be eligible for employee benefits offered by participating Jiffy Lube operators or the Co-op.
  • Will enter into an Independent Contractor Agreement outlining the terms of the engagement.
