Job description

Job Title: Medical Director (PM&R)– Outpatient TBI, Spasticity & Dystonia Management

Location: Kent & Sussex County, Delaware 
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

An established and growing neuro-rehabilitation practice is seeking a Medical Director to lead outpatient services in Sussex County, DE, with additional leadership responsibilities in Kent County. This is a rare chance to take on a leadership role in a high-demand specialty area, with no call and no weekends required.

The multidisciplinary team includes Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Psychologists, Neuropsychologists, and Chiropractors, all working together to maximize patient independence. The practice utilizes state-of-the-art technology, including computerized cognitive, oculomotor, vestibular, and balance testing systems.

Position Overview
  • Leadership role at the new Sussex County office; leadership float in Kent County office (38 miles apart).

  • Outpatient focus: Brain injury, spasticity, dystonia, SCI, headaches, and musculoskeletal cases.

  • Customize patient mix based on clinical interests.

  • Provide comprehensive evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.

  • Program development, quality assurance, community outreach, and staff training.

  • Perform injections for spasticity/dystonia (Botulinum toxin, phenol chemodenervation).

  • Baclofen pump refills, programming, and troubleshooting.

  • Prescribe medications and therapies.

  • Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, primary care, occupational medicine, case managers, ERs, and urgent care centers.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $300,000 – $350,000

  • Additional Incentives: Up to $100,000 annually
