Toll Brothers, America's leading luxury home builder, seeks a Production Development Manager to join our division based at our corporate office in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
What is the opportunity?
The Production Development Manager will be an expert in instructional design. This position will manage
the strategic initiative from project management and content development to end-user delivery. They will
work across the department to create innovative educational content using sound instructional design
methodologies and effective project management skills to increase the success of the production and
customer care organization.
What are the primary responsibilities?
  • Enhance our existing curriculum of instructional materials for traditional instructor-led courses and online programs, learning aids and/or other programs as needed
    • Write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts and video scripts
    • Know how to connect with the audience
    • Brainstorm creative and innovative instructional design strategies
  • Lead project meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, and manage project plans in accordance with the National Production teams' budgets and timelines Develop materials for courses based on information provided by subject matter experts to create impactful training content
  • Research and identify ways to foster a collaborative training environment and grow the Production and Customer Care teams' learning presence
  • Recommend changes to existing courses, including technology or instructional methods, to achieve
    increased adoption of the material
  • Continuously analyze courses to ensure they meet Toll Brothers brand standards, achieve positive reviews, and elicit behavior changes
  • Remain aware of all emerging instructional technologies and make recommendations about when to adopt
  • Conduct training-the-trainer classes for trainers/Production leaders to deliver consistent high-level training

Do you have these qualifications?
  • Essential:
    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Instructional Design, Construction Management, or
      Communications
    • 7+ years in instructional design and/or curriculum development for synchronous and asynchronous curricula
    • 5+ years of previous training facilitation experience
    • Ability to travel 40% of the time
  • Preferred:
    • We seek candidates with graduate degrees (preferably in relevant fields such as Real Estate Development, Construction Management, Engineering, etc.)
    • Experience or internships within residential real estate/homebuilding
