Section Chief of Urology Fayetteville, North Carolina
Leadership Opportunity | $350K$400K + Sign-On Bonus | Up to $200K Loan Repayment
A leading integrated healthcare system in Fayetteville, North Carolina is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Urologist to serve as Section Chief of Urology within the Department of Surgery.
This leadership role offers a combination of clinical practice, program oversight, quality improvement, and mentorship within a stable, well-supported healthcare environment.
Position Highlights
  • $350,000$400,000 salary
  • Sign-on bonus available
  • MondayFriday schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • Call coverage: approximately 5 days per month
  • Inpatient and outpatient Urology practice
  • Leadership role with administrative responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Urology care
  • Perform operative urologic procedures and manage perioperative care
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of urologic conditions
  • Participate in call coverage and inpatient consult services
  • Supervise and support clinical operations within the Urology section
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and performance initiatives
  • Support education and mentorship of residents, trainees, and medical students
  • Assist with program development, clinic management, and departmental leadership activities

Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Urology residency program
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology
  • Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
  • Strong clinical and surgical Urology experience
  • Leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills

Preferred Experience
  • Academic or hospital-based practice experience
  • Experience treating medically complex patients
  • Teaching or mentoring experience
  • Quality improvement or program development involvement
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience
