Position Overview
The Business Development Manager drives revenue growth by developing new business and expanding existing customer relationships within targeted market segments. This role partners with internal teams and customers to deliver technical solutions aligned to business needs. The position focuses on achieving sales targets through strategic territory management, customer engagement, and market insight.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within assigned territory

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts to increase revenue and retention

  • Develop and execute territory plans aligned to annual sales targets

  • Build partnerships with customers and distribution channels to expand market presence

  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver application-based solutions

  • Maintain accurate forecasts, pipelines, and sales performance tracking

  • Analyze market trends and competitive activity to inform sales strategy

  • Deliver presentations, proposals, and negotiations to stakeholders across organizations

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field

  • 7+ years of business development or direct sales experience with new business generation

  • 3+ years of experience in automotive, adhesives, or fastener-related markets

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline from prospecting through close

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 75%

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $135,000-$158,000.
