Our award-winning championship golf course, designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf, provides the perfect setting for an immersive, hands-on learning experience. As a Golf Course Maintenance Intern, you’ll work closely with an experienced turf management team, gaining valuable exposure to daily maintenance operations, irrigation management, fertility programs, equipment operation, and tournament preparation.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Currently studying agronomy, turfgrass management or a similar degree.


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

The golf course agronomy intern is responsible for learning the agronomics to produce playing conditions outlined in the course’s business plan. This person will help attract and develop talent at all levels of golf course maintenance to create a highly functional team. This individual will also focus on the business of agronomy, technology, continuing education and long term strategic planning.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • 1-year turfgrass management experience required.
  • Currently learning about agronomy and turfgrass management practices with the ability to teach others.
  • A strong business aptitude and passion for the golf business.
  • Current (or ability to obtain) state certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator.
