Lead a Classroom of Young Learners with Our Dependable, Energetic, and Caring Team
Future Leaders of Excellence (FLOE) is seeking a confident and compassionate Lead Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom of young learners in a structured, nurturing, and engaging early childhood environment.
We’re looking for someone who can build positive relationships with children and families, and create a learning space where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

What You'll Do- Develop and implement daily classroom instruction and routines
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Support children’s growth and progress in a structured, safe, and engaging classroom environment
- Collaborate with assistant teachers to supervise and support the classroom
- Monitor and document children’s developmental progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Maintain open and professional communication with families, ensuring they feel informed and supported
- Ensure compliance with Tennessee childcare licensing standards and regulations
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices
RequirementsEssential Requirements- High school diploma or GED required
- Must meet Tennessee childcare licensing requirements
- Ability to work full-time in an active classroom setting, requiring stamina and flexibility
- Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
- Must complete required training and compliance certifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and engage physically with children throughout the day
Nice To Haves- CDA (Child Development Associate) certification, demonstrating expertise in early childhood education
- TCC in Early Childhood Education, providing a foundation in the field
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, showcasing a commitment to lifelong learning
- Previous experience in childcare, preschool, or daycare settings, with a focus on leadership or mentoring
- Experience leading a classroom or mentoring assistant teachers, with a track record of success
- CPR & First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain, to ensure safety and well-being of children
- Familiarity with lesson planning and developmental milestones, with the ability to adapt instruction to meet individual needs
