Job description

MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.
Program Assistant - Adult Day Program (Full Time)

What You'll Do:
* Provide hands-on support to older adults and individuals with:
* Brain injuries
* Intellectual/developmental disabilities
* Behavioral or mental health needs
* Assist with daily living activities (ADLs)
* Transport and pick up program participants using the program van
* Help plan and lead fun, engaging group and individual activities
* Promote independence, self-esteem, and social skills
* Ensure safety, care, and emotional support at all times
What We're Looking For:
* 18+ with a high school diploma (or equivalent)
* At least 1 year of experience in human services (preferred)
* Valid driver's license with a minimum of 1 year of driving history (required)
* CPR/First Aid knowledge (or willingness to obtain)
* Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
* Strong communication and attention to detail
