Job description

Coordinator II Timekeeper

The Coordinator II Timekeeper is responsible for accurately processing and managing employee time records for Primoris Energy Services, ensuring compliance with company policies, labor laws, and project requirements. This role involves data entry, reconciliation, and reporting of timekeeping information.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collect, review, and verify daily and weekly timesheets for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization.
  • Enter and maintain employee time data into the designated timekeeping system (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP, or other proprietary software).
  • Process new hire, termination, and transfer timekeeping records in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with employees, supervisors, and project managers to resolve discrepancies, clarify time entries, and ensure timely submission of timesheets.
  • Track and apply appropriate pay codes for regular hours, overtime, per diem, and other special pay situations.
  • Generate and distribute various timekeeping reports as required by management, payroll, and project teams.
  • Assist with auditing time records and preparing for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies and collective bargaining agreements (if applicable).
  • Maintain organized and confidential timekeeping records.
  • Support payroll processing by providing accurate and timely time data.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the operations team.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in timekeeping, payroll, or administrative support, preferably within the construction, energy, or industrial services industry.
  • Proficiency in using timekeeping software (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of basic payroll principles and labor laws related to timekeeping.
  • Experience with multi-state timekeeping regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
