We have an exciting opportunity within our Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Business Unit for a Manager, Contracts. We are seeking an experienced dynamic and results-driven person to develop contract strategy and execute within the Space, Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance (SISR) Sub-strategic Business Unit (SSBU) and Commercial Intelligence & IT (Ci2) program area. Key responsibilities include providing strategic contractual guidance and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to address a wide range of business, contractual, and programmatic matters. This position will utilize regular application of strong business acumen and subject matter expertise to understand program performance requirements, develop contractual and negotiation strategy, provide guidance, and influence results in support of program and financial objectives. Additionally, the Manager, Contracts is required to work closely with Program Management leadership, the Office of General Counsel, and cross-functional peers in support of program gate reviews, program management reviews, business strategy sessions, proposal reviews, risk management activities, and all other contractual related matters affecting the portfolio. The successful candidate will work with both internal and external customers to ensure successful program performance and influence outcomes to achieve desired results. This position will be for an individual contributor role supporting program area directors and is well suited for a highly motivated, well-organized person who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. This position will report directly to the Associate Director, Contracts and will need to collaborate closely with program management and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities will include supporting program execution, leading key pursuits, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, providing contractual guidance, developing Intellectual Property strategies and novel contracting approaches, as well as developing creative approaches to solving problems and creating innovative solutions while employing strong change management and communication skills. What You Will Do * Provide contracts management of the development of government type proposals, negotiations, contractual agreements, contract execution, day-to-day administration
* Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives and comply with company policies
* Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract scope
* Develop and enhance positive customer relationships for working contractual matters to resolution while leveraging excellent relationships with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and other functions to drive closure on contractual issues, negotiate contracts and to achieve desired business results
* Effectively communicate with senior leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization, and provide information to senior management regarding contractual and business issues, rights and obligations, and risk mitigation Qualifications You Must Have * Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
* Experience with U.S. Government and/or Defense related Contracts Management/Administration
* Experience with contracts acquisition regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) clauses or other customer supplementals

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
