Program Committee Chair Jobs in Florida (NOW HIRING)

The University of Florida, College of Medicine, Department of Community Health and Family Medicine (CHFM), seeks a full-time MD/DO Family Medicine physician to join our rural practice in beautiful Old Town, Florida. This is a non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, depending on qualifications. In this role, you will provide high-quality, team-based patient care while teaching UF medical students who rotate through the clinic. You'll also participate in educational activities such as conferences, seminars, and lectures. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact through clinical care, education, and mentorship in a supportive academic environment.This position is non-tenure accruing. The rank will be commensurate with qualifications. Full-time is strongly preferred; however, part-time may be considered depending on the clinic's needs and applicants.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, full-time primary care services at UF Health Family Medicine – Old Town Clinic.
• Participate in clinic or inpatient call rotations.
• Collaborate with and supervise Advanced Practice Providers (ARNPs/PAs) in a team-based care model.
• Contribute to the overall clinical operations and faculty responsibilities as assigned.

Educational Responsibilities:

• Teach and mentor medical students during patient care activities and, where applicable, inpatient rounds.
• Participate in departmental educational conferences and seminars.
• Engage in scholarly activity and professional development, with mentorship and departmental support available for academic presentations and publications.

Expected Salary: Salary commensurate with education and experience. In addition to the base salary, productivity incentives are available based on clinical productivity.

Required Qualifications: An M.D. or D.O. degree (or equivalent), board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, and a current Florida medical license (or eligibility) are required. Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
