About Us
St Luke's Wood River is a mission-driven, non-profit critical access hospital dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to our mountain community. Our team values collaboration, clinical excellence, and continuous learning across all care settings.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Educator to support Surgical Services, including the Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Endoscopy (Endo), as well as team members such as RNs, CNAs, and Surgical Technologists.
This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating education programs that promote clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and professional development. The Clinical Educator plays a key role in onboarding, competency validation, and ongoing staff development across the perioperative continuum.
Position start date target is September 2026
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Experience: 4 years related experience, strongly prefer Surgical Services background
  • Licenses/Certifications: RN Licensure in the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

  • 2+ years related experience, strongly prefer Surgical Services background
  • Licenses/Certifications: RN Licensure in the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

This is a part time position, but can be combined with an Surgical Services RN position if full time is desired.
