Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology - Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)

Location:  Omaha, NE
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days
Pay: $2,644/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) 


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our imaging and procedural team. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive image-guided procedures. The RN will ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures, while collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures, including pre-procedure assessments and education.
  • Assist physicians during image-guided procedures such as angiography, biopsies, and vascular interventions.
  • Administer medications, sedation, and IV therapies as ordered.
  • Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures and recovery.
  • Respond promptly to complications or emergencies and assist with resuscitation efforts if needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
  • Licensure: Current RN license in [State].
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
    • Critical Care or Radiology Nursing Certification (preferred)
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1–2 years of critical care, perioperative, or interventional radiology experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of sterile techniques and radiology procedures.
