Position Summary:
Associate Dean for Academic Programs
College of Business

The College of Business invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-track position as Associate Dean for Academic Programs.
Reporting to the Dean, the Associate Dean provides leadership for academic programs, AACSB accreditation, and continuous improvement systems, with primary responsibility for the strategic management of accreditation processes. Duties include oversight of assurance of learning, faculty qualifications, curating a centralized record of intellectual contributions, and accreditation reporting; coordination of data systems supporting continuous improvement; and leadership of faculty credentialing and instructional resource alignment to maintain compliance with AACSB standards. The position also oversees academic advising and student services, manages student academic issues, and collaborates with faculty and academic leadership on program development, assessment, and initiatives that enhance student success and academic quality.
The role includes limited teaching responsibilities in one of the College's academic departments, service to the College and University, and maintenance of scholarly activity consistent with AACSB Scholarly Academic (SA) status.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Earned a doctorate from an AACSB-accredited business school
• An established research portfolio to have and maintain AACSB Scholarly Academic (SA) status
• Minimum of five (5) years of academic administrative experience, preferably at the Assistant or Associate Dean level
• Significant experience with AACSB accreditation (including assurance of learning, strategic deployment of faculty, and faculty credentialing)
• Experience overseeing academic advising and related student academic support services and personnel in those areas
