As a Project Management Intern, you will support the successful delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure and consulting projects while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This opportunity is ideal for a university student pursuing a career in project management, engineering, or business operations who is eager to develop practical skills and contribute to meaningful projects that shape communities.

The successful candidate will regularly accompany the Project Manager to project sites to gain practical exposure to on-site activities and project delivery.

Your Impact

  • Support the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, reports, meeting minutes, presentations, and key project documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors while tracking action items and follow-up activities.
  • Assist with project budgeting, invoicing, procurement, and administrative processes that contribute to successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain project management tools, including Excel-based tracking and scheduling systems.
  • Facilitate timely communication between project stakeholders to help ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Contribute to quality assurance, document control, and project governance requirements.
  • Participate in project site visits with Project Managers to gain practical field experience and exposure to project execution.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of project delivery best practices.

  • Currently enrolled in a university program in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize multiple priorities and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with project management software or scheduling tools is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within collaborative project teams.
  • Interest in infrastructure, engineering, consulting, and project delivery environments.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel locally to project sites as required.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $24.00 - $32.25 per hour

MB & ON: $22.50 - $30.25 per hour

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $21.50 - $30.25 per hour
