Job description

The Analyst Trainee is part of an Advance Hire Analyst Training Program, in which trainees receive real-world hands-on experience, with the goal of career advancement within 12-24 months. Support issue resolution, manage projects, prepare reports, and analyze data using project management and Agile principles. Communicate effectively with internal and external partners and formally present information to stakeholders. Foster problem resolution, critical thinking, and leadership skills.

  • Develop strategic problem-solving, quantitative analytics, and communication skills through use of information, data, analytics, ingenuity, and empathy in innovative ways to deliver technology-driven solutions.
  • Effectively support projects and teams to produce desired results.
  • Develop and improve departmental workflows, business processes, and standard policies for routine services.
  • Produce routine and non-routine reports, presentations, letters, communications, and graphics.
  • Foster problem resolution capabilities. Scope operational feasibility, lead implementation efforts, and monitor the success of new initiatives.
  • Interface with both internal and external areas to resolve problems and capture business requirements.
  • Provide support with design, development, modification, testing, implementation, and maintenance of assigned systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
  • One (1) year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficient in current industry standard PC applications and systems (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Good analytical, organizational, problem solving, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Ability to make decisions within the scope of responsibility where operational guidelines/procedures are non-existent.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
  • General understanding of project management and/or Agile delivery process.

Departmental Preferences:

  • Strong Technical Skills is preferred.
  • Experience with SQL, Excel and Macros is preferred.
