Job description

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Financial Program Analyst to support KDS and our government customer at Arsenal Wharton, Picatinny, NJ.

The Financial Program Analyst will serve as Subject Matter Expert on the Armyโ€™s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems. They will serve as a senior consultant functioning in the capacity of providing integrated financial management support services for internal and external customers.ย 

ย Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the analysis and report generation of financial execution activities within GFEBS to include Continuing Resolution Authority (CRA), reprogramming actions, Unfunded Requirements (UFRs), and other financial execution activities to sustain the JPEO A&A mission
  • Assist in the responsibility to maintain and track funded reimbursable authority
  • Interface with ASA(ALT) Managerial Accounting Directorate (MAD) and Defense Finance and Accounting System (DFAS) as needed
  • Support responsibility of Mid-Year Review and Execution Reviews
  • Support requests for FMS Admin funds and track their execution
  • Eventually will lead Internal Operating Budget Team monitoring bank health and contract obligations
  • Support audit activities (such as DAR-Q / MICP / RMIC etc.,) as related to financial data
  • Adjust closed accounts for financial transactions per regulation
  • Interpret data from various systems to obtain data and conduct analysis
  • Support the oversight of Research, Development, and Acquisition (RDA) appropriations to include Foreign Military Sales (FMS)

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business from an accredited University
  • Active Secret clearance is required.
  • 7-12 yearsโ€™ experience in spending chain with the Army's DFAS, FMS, GFEBs or other DoD ERP
  • Experience utilizing tools and applications to improve operational efficiencies through automation
  • Active Secret clearanceย 
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and be a self-starter
  • Military experience preferred.ย 
  • Must have worked in the US for the past 2 years.ย 
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment
