Position

We are currently hiring an Business Analyst Intern for a winter term position (January to April 2027). Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate program and returning to school after the internship.

This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be eligible to work full-time for the entire duration of the program.

The position reports to the AVP in Enterprise Services and Contact Centres and supports the Business Managed Technology Solutions (RPA - robotic process automation) team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Operational and/or AI Innovation Opportunity Implementation

Requirements:

  • Registered students returning to school in April 2027 in a related field such as Business Administration, Commerce, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio or other process-mapping tools.
  • Comfortable learning and using emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) tools, to support research, process improvement, innovation, and productivity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience with business process mapping, robotics process automation (RPA), data analysis, AI tools, or process improvement methodologies is considered an asset.

The expected annual base salary range (prorated for the term) for this role is $49,000 - $51,000, which is determined based on year of study, IGM program, geographic location and candidate’s skills, knowledge and experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for paid time off.
