Requirements

? Minimum 6 months of experience working with children in schools, youth programs, childcare, camps, recreation programs, or related settings

? Experience supervising and engaging groups of 10+ students (10:1 ratio or greater)

? Experience leading activities such as:

  • Sports
  • Games
  • Recreation
  • Enrichment activities
  • Group projects

? Strong communication and classroom/group management skills

? Availability to work Monday-Friday during after-school hours (typically between 12:00 PM-6:00 PM)

? Minimum 6 months of experience working with children in Special Education (SPED), behavioral support, school-based, or related settings

? Experience providing 1:1 or 2:1 support to students

? Experience managing challenging behaviors, redirection strategies, and aggressive behaviors when supporting students with special needs

? Ability to remain calm, professional, and supportive in behavioral situations

? Strong communication and interpersonal skills

? Availability to work Monday-Friday during after-school hours (typically between 12:00 PM-6:00 PM)

? Reliable transportation and willingness to commute to different school sites throughout San Diego County

? Passion for supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success
