Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist Youth Employment Program staff with recruitment, enrollment and placement into PBLs/Worksites.
  • Maintain participant files with all necessary documents, such as: identifying documents, timesheets, evaluations, etc.
  • Call and/or email parents/participants to follow up on absenteeism and/or to collect necessary documents.
  • Document all face-to-face and telephone conversations with participants and/or parents.
  • Assist participants with any questions or concerns.
  • Provide overall support and assistance to staff.
  • Assist with any program activity deemed necessary by the Program Director.

COMPETENCIES
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Must be able to meet set deadlines
  • Willing to go above and beyond program mandates for the benefit of the program participants
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office a plus
