Dietary Aide / Wait Staff

Pay: $12.00–$13.50 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Available

Join Our Team!

We are looking for caring, dependable, and energetic Dietary Aides / Wait Staff to join our Food & Nutrition Services team. If you enjoy working with seniors, providing excellent customer service, and making a difference every day, we'd love to meet you!

As a Dietary Aide, you'll help create a welcoming dining experience by serving nutritious meals, assisting residents during mealtimes, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the dining room for meal service

  • Serve meals and beverages in a friendly, professional manner

  • Assist residents during meals while promoting dignity and independence

  • Deliver meal trays and snacks to resident rooms

  • Ensure food is served accurately and at proper temperatures

  • Assist with light food preparation as directed

  • Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and sanitize work areas

  • Restock supplies and rotate food items properly

  • Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas

  • Follow all infection control, sanitation, and food safety procedures

  • Work as part of a team to provide exceptional service to our residents

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Previous food service, restaurant, hospitality, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with others

  • Ability to follow directions and maintain sanitation standards
