Dietary Aide

Come join the team at WeCare Centers!

WeCare Centers at Rolling Meadows is actively seeking motivated Dietary Aides for our community in Waynesburg, PA. Our Dietary Aides assist in the kitchen area prior to, during, and after meals are served to residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain kitchen work areas.

  • Maintain equipment, utensils, and food plates clean and orderly.

  • Prepares meals, snacks, and nourishments in accordance with sanitary regulations, as well as the facility standards and procedures.

  • Serves meals that are palatable, appetizing in appearance, garnished and at proper temperature on a timely basis.

  • Serves food from steam table and or transport food delivery carts to the resident areas.

  • Honors residents food likes, dislikes per tray ticket within prescribed diet.

  • Ensures food supplies for the next day production is available.

  • Assists cooks in preparing meals as directed.

  • Uses proper hand washing techniques and safety procedures.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  •  Ability to meet all health compliance and competency requirements

  •  Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively

  •  Minimum 1 year food service experience
